Global sensation Pink has just announced via Twitter she has had to postpone tomorrow night's opening concert in Sydney.
Claiming that it was "with great frustration", Pink said she was "unable to kick this sick" in order to complete her scheduled performance at Qudos Bank Arena on 3 August.
A statement has since been released that states the singer "is suffering from an upper respiratory infection and has received medical advice that she should not perform in order to facilitate her recovery".
It also goes on to state the upcoming performances from 4 August "will not be affected".

Hi my Sydney friends. It is with great frustration that I bring you this news:( Friday’s show will be postponed. I was hoping a couple of days of rest would help me kick this sick, but not at the speed I was hoping for. I appreciate your well wishes and understanding + I’m sorry.
