“I was sort of the Ringo of the band.”

What comes to mind when you think of Capital Punishment?

Certainly not a “post punk, neo-goth, urban, experimental” band formed by Ben Stiller during his high school days?

Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon way back in 2014, Stiller dove into his archives to tease a snippet of the music and now in massive news after the leak in 2015, Captured Tracks and Remote Control have officially announced they will release the band’s sole LP Roadkill, remastered and expanded, this September.

Speaking to Fallon, Stiller said he “was sort of the Ringo of the band” and had recorded the album even though they “never played live once”.
