Didirri To Be Repped By Legendary Agent In Massive American Deal

Following some big gigs in the UK and Europe, including The Great Escape and Primavera Sounds, Victorian artist Didirri has inked a bookings deal with Paradigm Talent Agency for North and South America. 

The signing is made more exciting by the fact that the Warrnambool songwriter will be represented by Paradigm's senior executive and legendary agent Tom Windish who has developed the touring careers of names like Lorde, The xx and alt-J, as well as Paradigm's huge roster of acts that includes Ed Sheeran, Coldplay and Flume.

Speaking to The Music, Windish said, "I couldn’t be more excited to work with Didirri.

"He’s someone of exceptional talent, and has moved me every time I’ve seen him play."

Windish continued, "The stars really aligned the night I saw Didirri in the East end of London.

"I'm on the board of advisors for Sofar Sounds but had never been to see a show at their headquarters in London. There I am and the first artist up was Didirri. He started strumming and singing and my jaw dropped. 

"By the end of his set there were tears in my eyes. He made an immediate impact on me in the way only music or art or magic or a shooting star can."

The announcement comes just weeks before the release of Didirri's debut EP, Measurements, due out on 6 July.

Didirri will perform some headline shows in Victoria next month before heading off to play at Splendour In The Grass 2018.
