Tommy Emmanuel will honour late brother Phil during his performance at the Sydney Guitar Festival this August.

The two Australian music legends were set to perform together at the event before Phil passed away in May due to a sudden asthma attack

Emmanuel has confirmed he will incorporate a "very special tribute" to his brother during his headlining set.

It comes after the revered guitarist issued a statement on Phil's passing, writing, "We shared everything, and he taught me about kindness, giving, listening, how to love people as they are".
