Leaps & Bounds Reveal Details For 2018 Program

Leaps & Bounds - the annual celebration of Yarra culture, artists and venues - have revealed a typically stacked line-up for their 2018 event, which runs 13-22 Jul.

In a festival first, the program has been organised by Yarra's venues, giving rise to a diverse array of events to pick and choose from.

Laundry Bar are putting on Girls To The Front, a night of homegrown hip hop headlined by Dijok.

Award-winning gender transcendent diva and acclaimed producer Mama Alto has curated Queering The Pitch: Music From Beyond The Binary at alternative bookstore Hares & Hyenas.

Smith Street Dreaming will make a return as well, this year bringing together Benny Walker, Birdz, Alice Skye, Indigenous Hip Hop Dance Projects, Djirri Djirri Dance Group and more.

That's just a few of the options already announced, with more to drop in the coming months.
