Peking Duk To Perform NRL State Of Origin Pre-match Show

It's an appearance that's usually reserved for rock royalty but not gunna stop electronic music duo Peking Duk from putting on a hell of a show at this year's NRL's State Of Origin.

Announced by the NRL today, the duo will be performing the pre-match show at game one of the series at Melbourne's MCG this 6 June. 

"We have a very special pre-game show planned for the MCG and Peking Duk will showcase it spectacularly," said NRL Chief Commercial Officer Andrew Abdo.

"There is nothing like Origin when it comes to on-field intensity and we certainly aim to ensure the night-time spectacular complements the game itself."

"It feels exhilarating just standing here and looking around," added Peking Duk's Adam Hyde following a visit to the grounds. "I can already feel the excitement and the crowd roaring.

"We're looking forward to delivering a great show."
