The annual Reclink Community Cup has announced the dates for AFL games across the country where musicians and media personalities will go head to head for a good cause.

The cup will make its way around Australia to Melbourne, Brisbane, Hobart, Adelaide, Sydney, Fremantle and Australia throughout June, July, August and September.

Teams have already been announced for the Victorian leg with the Silver Jubilee Rockdogs (musicians) being led by coach and Rudely Interrupted frontman Rory Burnside who is blind, epileptic and has Aspergers.

His teammates will include the likes of punk-rock legends The Aints!, acclaimed trio Cable Ties, soul funksters Hiatus Kaiyote, harmony quartet The Cartridge Family and Indigenous singer-songwriter Kutcha Edwards who will also perform this year's theme song, Everyday People.

Their rival team, the Megahertz, will be manned by presenters from Triple R 102.7FM and PBS 106.7FM.

"Celebrated in seven cities, the Reclink Community Cup is now an annual pilgrimage for tens of thousands of passionate footy fans across Australia," Reclink CEO John Ballis said.

"A huge thanks to our hundreds of loyal volunteers, community radio stations Triple R and PBS, the Silver Jubilee Rockdogs, our sponsors and all those everyday people who are prepared to make a difference in promoting equality, diversity and inclusion for all."

Proceeds from the games will go directly to Australians experiencing extreme disadvantage by providing accessible sports, arts and recreational programs
