It was a very tight finish but in the end Post Malone was able to beat out Missy Higgins and Keith Urban to #1 on the ARIA Albums chart this week.
The US rapper's second LP, Beerbongs & Bentleys, took out top spot ahead of Urban's Graffiti U at #2 and Higgins' Solastalgia at #3.
The placings see Higgins take out consecutive #3 debuts following 2014's Oz, while this is the first time a Keith Urban album hasn't debuted at #1 since 2010's Get Closer.
Meanwhile, Kasey Chambers & The Fireside Disciples' Campfire has debuted at #6, just ahead of DMA'S' For Now at #7, which just charted at #13 in the UK.
