Netflix has confirmed.
Jeffrey Tambor is confirmed to appear in the upcoming season of Arrested Development despite harassment allegations which saw the actor sacked from the award-winning series, Transparent, earlier this year.
As Deadline reports, a Netflix spokesperson confirmed Tambor's involvement in the forthcoming fifth season of the acclaimed comedy, in which he stars as George Bluth Sr.
Tambor, who won a Golden Globe in 2015 for his portrayal of Maura Pfefferman in Transparent, was officially fired from the Amazon series in February following an investigation into multiple sexual harassment allegations made against the 73-year-old.
During that time, fellow Arrested Development actor David Cross said the cast "stand behind" Tambor.

A premiere date for the new season is yet to be announced, however creator Mitch Hurwitz announced earlier this week that it is coming to Netflix "real soon", while a "remix" of season four also dropped on the streaming service this week.
