weather

Adelaide is going to be a sunny 23 degrees in the daytime but will plummet to 12 degrees at night. Best tie a jacket 'round your waist.

Transport

Car: There'll be limited parking available in a carpark on Rose Terrace around the showgrounds. The park opens at 9am and closes at midnight, so get in quick to nab a spot.

Train: The Seaford, Belair and Tonsley routes stop at the Adelaide Showground station, head over to Adelaide Metro to check out timetables.

Tram: Stop 3 Goodwood Road is your destination with trams running every 20 minutes from Glenelg and Adelaide Center. Adelaide Metro has all the goods to plan your journey.

maitland — Saturday 28 April @ Maitland Showground

There will be some showers developing towards midday and in the late afternoon, so this is your official warning — bring a poncho/umbrella/Ziploc bag to put your phone in. The temperature will hover around 20 degrees so maybe save the shorts for another day.

Car: The Maitland Lions Club are kind enough to put on parking for the event at Cultivation Road, East Maitland. The lot is open from 9am-11:30pm with a spot running you $5 per vehicle.

Bus: The shuttle bus is king in Maitland! there are charters running from Sydney, Taree, Polkolbin, Lake Macquarie and more running directly to the site. Tickets range from $20 — $50 return, head over to the GTM site to suss your specific route. 

Train: If you're heading in from Sydney there will be special event train services that will take you to Broadmeadow Station where you'll be taken directly to the GTM site via shuttle bus. Transport NSW has all the timetable info you need.

canberra — sunday 29 April @ University of Canberra, Bruce

It's gonna be partly cloudy this Sunday with a top of 19 degrees but the temperature will drop to a bone-chilling 4 degrees come nightfall. A jumper, at the very least, is essential. 

transport:

Car: While public transport is recommended, there'll be limited parking available at the university from 9:30am until late. All it will cost you is a gold coin donation which will go directly to the UC Hockey Club.

Train: If you're making the trek from Sydney, there's a direct service running from Central station that takes you to Canberra Railway station in just over four hours. For more info, check out NSW Translink.

Bus: There's a myriad of buses running from Wollongong and Sydney via Southern Highlands to the fest, for the lucky locals there's even a free bus service that will run from 8:30pm until late to major centres. Head here for more information.

bendigo — saturday 5 May @ Prince of wales showgrounds

Bendigo is going to be a bit chilly come the festival with highs hitting only 16 degrees, lows are gonna be way down at 7 degrees. However, it is going to be mostly sunny, so hopefully, those sweet, sweet rays will provide some warmth.

Car: A car park is being run by Strathfieldsaye Lions Club on Holmes Road, North Bendigo for your parking pleasure. It opens at 8am and will cost you $5 to park for the whole day.

Train: V-Line is running special event day services that will take you from Melbourne to Bendigo Railway station. Run over to their official site to check out the times.

Bus: There is a stack of charter buses running from surrounding suburbs straight to the festival site. Click here for more info on your location. Tickets run from $2 to $60, depending on where you're coming from.

townsville — sunday 6 May @ Murray sports complex, townsville cricket grounds

This is the location you can get your summer styling out. Townsville will top 28 degrees, dipping to a mild 20 degrees at night. Bring something waterproof, though because there's a chance of afternoon showers.

Transport:

Car: Praise! There's free parking at the AFL Grounds of the Murray Sports Complex. The lot is open from 9:30am until late with entry via Gartrell drive only. 

Bus: Routes run from all around Townsville to the festival site with prices ranging from $5 to $15. Swing on over here to find out which bus you should be hopping on.

bunbury — Saturday 12 may @ hay park

Weather: 

Burbury is throwing up a mild day for its GTM outing with temps topping 19 degrees and then dropping to 12 at night. And just because it's going to be mostly cloudy doesn't mean you don't have to slip, slop, slap.

Transport:

Car: GTM suggests that shuttle buses are the way to go for Bunbury but there will be limited car parking available at Hay Park off Parade Road and all it'll cost you is a gold coin donation.

Train: Transwa can get you sorted if you're coming in from Perth for the day. Return tickets start at $33, head over to the official website to get the skinny on your journey.

Bus: Charter shuttle buses can be pre-booked from a number of surrounding suburbs including Busselton, Collie, Mandurah and more with the price tag on tickets ranging from $5 to $25.
