They're back, baby!

More Arctic Monkeys More Arctic Monkeys

After months of teasing and rumours, Arctic Monkeys have officially announced the details of their sixth studio album, Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino.

Following on from 2013's beloved LP AM, the new cut will be released in just over a month on Friday 11 May.

The announcement was joined by a cryptic 40-second album teaser that features '60s space TV-style visuals and a sprawling strings arrangement before kicking into the slick guitar that fans have come to expect from the band.

Arctic Monkeys have slowly been reintroducing themselves into the public eye in the last six months popping up on the line-ups of festivals like Spain's Primavera Sound and Lollapalooza in Chicago, as well as announcing a massive US tour for this May and June.
