Oh dear...
UK artist Dua Lipa has called out Today's Richard Wilkins for incorrectly reporting a newly-screened performance on US TV was live, despite her cancelling recent Australian shows due to surgery.
Appearing on this morning's episode, the Nine entertainment reporter said that Lipa's set on Jimmy Kimmel Live was indeed live, however the singer was quick to point out the performance was filmed last month, before she even boarded a flight to Australia.
"Jimmy Kimmel was shot in Feb in La and aired yesterday. I’ve been in Australia on bed rest and wouldn’tve cancelled my [Bruno Mars] shows if I didn’t have to."

Lol @RichardWilkins if you were a good journalist you would’ve done proper research instead of talking out of your ass. Jimmy Kimmel was shot in Feb in La and aired yesterday. I’ve been in Australia on bed rest and wouldn’tve cancelled my Bruno shows if I didn’t have to. @9NowAU pic.twitter.com/B991bDQkUs

Even more awkward was the fact that Lipa only performed in Sydney just last night… oh dear.
Wilkins apologised to Lipa for the stuff-up, tweeting back, "Sincere apologies @DUALIPA. Didn't mean to misinform. Assumed you were live with Jimmy K. your fans and my son have severely castigated me!"
