No, you're crying!
Sydney artist Gordi has today unveiled a heartbreaking video for her song I'm Done, featuring singer S.Carey.
The video clip, filmed with Melbourne artist Giulia McGauren, is set against a starkly grey, rocky landscape, acting as a visceral imagining of the tunes sombre yet quietly triumphant lyrics.
"When I heard Sean Carey sing the vocals on this song for the first time, I felt this feeling I get when a piece of music really connects with me," Gordi said.
"It’s this nexus of familiarity and new. It reminds you of somewhere you are coming from and moving towards. The video was inspired by Bernini’s Apollo and Daphne; a statue that captures an entire narrative in an instant.”
It's the latest single taken from the singer-songwriter's debut album, Reservoir, which dropped in August last year.
Gordi is currently on a huge US and Canadian tour supporting Son Lux and she'll be making a detour to Austin next week to play eight showcases at SXSW.
Australians wanting to catch a glimpse of the artist will have to wait until May when she supports Missy Higgins on her Solastalgia tour.
Tickets to Missy Higgins' Australian tour, supported by Gordi are on sale now; for more information, head to theGuide.
