The Music can exclusively reveal today that Australia has scored itself a brand new label thanks to Sony Music Entertainment Australia and Lemon Tree Music who have teamed up to launch Lemon Tree Records.
Founded in Melbourne in 2013 by Regan Lethbridge and David Morgan, Lemon Tree Music is responsible for building successful careers of big-name Australian artists, including Tash Sultana and Pierce Brothers.
The exciting partnership will see the new label build and develop a diverse roster of local artists and is kicking things off by announcing its very first signing, burgeoning Tasmanian artist, Maddy Jane.

The signing comes ahead of the release of Jane's debut EP, Not Human At All, out this Friday.
Jane is set for a huge year, having already supported the likes of Harry Styles and Tash Sultana in 2017, as well as critically-acclaimed sets at BIGSOUND, The Plot and Falls Festival.
