John Oliver Takes Down Barnaby Joyce For His 'Incredible Family Values'

Just as Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce was thinking he was out of the John Oliver and Last Week Tonight spotlight, Oliver has roped him back in.

Having previously been a target for the show thanks to his deportation and threatened euthanasia of Johnny Depp's pups, Pistol and Boo, back in 2015, Joyce has once again caught Oliver's eye, this time over his alleged affair with his former media advisor, as reported by News Corp.

During his monologue, Oliver explained how the affair had led to the breakdown of Joyce's marriage and the irony that Joyce opposed same-sex marriage due to "traditional family values". 

"You might think that's hypocritical but in reality, Joyce has such incredible family values that he can't restrict them to just one family," says Oliver.
