"I am really excited for everyone to hear the EP in its entirety.”

You’ll be hearing a lot more from Southern California outfit Forever Came Calling, with the emo pop-punkers signing with local label Penultimate Records ahead of their new EP.

The band has been somewhat quiet since the release of 2014’s acclaimed What Matters Most LP, but they’re kicking off the year with a bang by dropping an exciting taste of what’s the come in Borrowed Cars – the first cut from March’s Retro Future.

"Personally, I have been a fan of Forever Came Calling for a long time, so naturally we jumped at the opportunity to work with the guys,” Penultimate Records co-owner Jamie Mallinder said.

“Having followed the band since early releases, I have always appreciated the substantial growth and development artistically with each new release without comprising their sound.

“This is also a prominent feature of Retro Future so I am really excited for everyone to hear the EP in its entirety.”

Forever Came Calling last visited Australia in support of What Matters Most, and with any luck, this new deal will see them return in the near future.

Retro Future drops March 23 and you can check out Borrowed Cars below.
