The Smith Street Band have today announced a headline tour of Australia, however the current line-up of the band has come into question.

As seen in the Melbourne outfit's latest press shot (above) co-founding member and drummer Chris Cowburn is not included, but musician Matt Bodiam, formerly of A Death In The Family (second from the left), is instead seen in the photo.

The Music has contacted The Smith Street Band's management for comment.

Meanwhile, the band's headline run will kick off this March at their Pool House Party in Melbourne, followed by stops in Newcastle, Wollongong, Canberra, Sydney, Central Coast, Dunsborough, Perth, Fremantle, Warnambool, Mount Gambier, Adelaide, Byron Bay, Toowoomba, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Rockhampton, Airlie Beach, Townsville, Cairns, Darwin, Alice Springs, Launceston, Hobart and an additional show in Melbourne.

It will be The Smith Street Band's final tour before they return to the studio.

They'll be joined on the road by fellow Melbourne outfit Press Club and Sydney's own Bec Sandridge.
