More Busby Marou More Busby Marou

Brisbane duo Busby Marou have inked a joint management deal with Footstomp and Kadence Management.

The duo's past 12 months have been huge, with their critically-acclaimed album, Postcards From The Shell House, scoring them an ARIA Award and the Triffid's 2017 Album Of The Year.

Now, they take the bittersweet step of moving on from QFE’s Josh Jones, their manager for 11 years, to the warm embrace of a joint management from Footstomp/Kadence Management.

“Jeremy, Jonesy and I have always considered Busby Marou as a trio. This experience has taken us beyond our wildest dreams as a band and Jonesy will always be part of the family,” the band said in a statement.

“We are about to embark on the most exciting phase of our career and having Footstomp/Kadence on board as full time management makes perfect sense."

Busby Marou join the likes of North Queensland singer Tia Gostelow on the Footstomp/Kadence management roster and Footstomp’s Graham Ashton is stoked with the boys coming on board.

“Kristy (Kadence Group) and I have been co-managing Tia Gostelow for the last year or so and together we are really proud of the work that we do as artist managers,” Ashton said.

“We were looking to sign another artist when Busby Marou came up it just made perfect sense. Busby Marou and Tia Gostelow - What a roster!"
