Aussie Producer Tom Budin Tops US Club Chart

In more news of Aussies on fire in the US, Sydney producer Tom Budin has topped the Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart with his single X With You.

Budin shares the track, released by onelove, with UK’s singer Luciana, delivering an earworm of a tune exploding with popcorn percussion and thumping bass.

Budin has made quite the name for himself internationally, supporting the likes of Diplo, Dillon Francis, Bloody Beetroots and Zedd while also having his tracks released through Sony USA, Ministy of Sound and Universal USA.

X With You marks the first time that an Australian has topped the chart since Sia climbed to the apex in February last year. Success in this chart, hosted by Billboard, has been the launchpad into wider American success for artists as wide-ranging as Kylie Minogue, Empire Of The Sun and Nervo. 

In another milestone, Billboard are reporting that it is the first number one in the Dance Club Songs Chart for an independent Australian label.
