Will the station still go ahead with it?
Two prominent Triple M presenters have distanced themselves from the station's controversial Ozzest 100, just weeks after colleague and comic Wil Anderson said he was "shocked and disappointed" by the news.
As Fairfax reports, Mick Molloy and Jane Kennedy, who will host Triple M's drive slot in 2018, backed calls for the date of Australia Day to be moved from 26 January.
"I'm speaking for myself here, but I would like to see Australia Day moved so everyone can enjoy it," Molloy said.
"If you want to do it, include everyone. Keep the public holiday, remove the date and everyone can enjoy it together."

The duo have reportedly also invited Dan Sultan to come on the show to discuss the topic in the wake of the singer-songwriter calling the Ozzest 100 a "redneck countdown".
Sultan and AB Original have campaigned for people to vote for their politically-charged track, January 26, in the playlist.
When approached by The Music for further comment on their announcement, Triple M offered just one previously released statement from Triple M Head of Content Mike Fitzpatrick, saying "At Triple M we are avid supporters of Aussie music and like we do throughout the year and every Australia Day we will celebrate Aussie artists".
