Liam Gallagher has no problem telling you he's a fan of Sydney outfit DMA'S, but just don't compare them to Oasis.
In an interview with Fairfax ahead of his Australian festival appearances this week, Gallagher spoke about the DMA'S' music being compared to the iconic UK band.
"I went to one of their gigs in London and they're all right," Gallagher said.
"… They've got some good tunes – and they're good lads – but they're not as good as Oasis. I mean, yeah, they've got that Britpop thing, but no. No way, man."

Gallagher's comments come after brother Noel (who he seemingly patched things up with over the holidays) said he would boo DMA'S if he saw them live in an interview with The Music.
The revered frontman also gave the nod to Gang Of Youths, saying "I heard they're good, wouldn't mind checking them out".
Meanwhile, though the Gallagher brothers have called a "truce", you shouldn't expect an Oasis reunion anytime soon.
"God no, no. Oasis isn't getting back together, not at all," Gallagher said.
"I'm doing my thing, he's doing his thing and that is the end of it.
