WHAT IS GOING ON?!

More blink-182 More blink-182

Tom DeLonge has continued to tease fans of a potential reunion with blink-182 following a catch-up with drummer, Travis Barker.

The founding member of the legendary pop-punk trio, who quit the band for a second time in 2015, took to Instagram over the weekend to reveal Barker called him up to take part in an interview.

"So Travis calls me and asks me to do an interview… next thing I know all these cameras have invaded my office," DeLonge tweeted.

"I have a feeling he just wanted some super hi-res footage of my body. And yes Blinkies, we also talked a bit about other stuff."

DeLonge and Barker have regularly kept in touch since his departure, saying in an interview earlier this year that his return to the band could be arranged "in a period of days" if he desired.

"I talk to Travis quite a bit and we try and figure out how and when it’s going to make sense," the guitarist said in March.

"It's not like I (permanently) walked away.

"They have someone doing my job for me. It's just that I'm so busy. If I wanted to, I could be back in a period of days."

Talk between DeLonge and Barker has also led to speculation that the reunion could be related to their '00s side project, Boxcar Racer.

The news follows the launch of DeLonge's multimedia production company, To The Stars Academy, this past October.

Meanwhile, blink-182 have stated intentions to return to the studio with DeLonge's replacement, Matt Skiba, next year, following on from the success of their 2016 Grammy-nominated album, California.
