Tasmania’s thriving local music scene will be under a spotlight come Falls Marion Bay, with the festival’s Homebrewed initiative returning.
The festival has joined forces with the legends at Music Tasmania to showcase some of Australia’s most promising acts to an audience of more than 16,000 across the New Year’s festivities.
Here are the local acts taking part in Homebrewed this year:
Ani Lou, Augustus Wolfbiter, Baltimore, Celeste, Chase City, Christopher Leon, Cotton Pony, Fiontan Cassidy, Heart Beach, Isla Ka Band, Jackson Simpson And His Band, Kat Edwards, Lasca Dry Band, Lazer Baby, Qe, Roboticus, Spiral Kites, Squid Fishing, Sundaze, The Embers, The Sleepyheads, The Stragglers, Verticoli, Younger Dryas, Ysla

“There are 25 acts programmed over three days and more than 50% are female-led.
“Homebrewed has become the place to discover local talent at Falls Festival and we have a great mix of more established bands who have been kicking goals over the last year, along with some amazing emerging acts that you have to experience.”
There’ll join Flume, Fleet Foxes, Run The Jewels, The Kooks, Glass Animals, Peking Duk and more from 29 – 31 December.
