Call It Off, Taylor Swift Has #1 In The Bag On The ARIA Albums Chart This Week

Taylor Swift is a sure thing for #1 on the ARIA Albums chart this week, everyone can go home now.

According to midweek figures, the US popstar's sixth studio album Reputation is the hot favourite to take out top spot, and on track to be the singer's fifth-straight #1 Aussie album. 

Meanwhile, news.com.au have reported that Swift is also in the race to have 2017's biggest first week sales with the critically acclaimed record. Check out our review here.

The entry of Reputation should see P!nk's reigning Beautiful Trauma finally fall from top spot after four weeks, but don't be surprised to see it hold strong in the top three.

Expect to also see top ten entries this week from Aussie hip hop artist Kerser with Engraved In The GameEvanescence's SynthesisCold Chisel's The Live Tapes Vol 4: The Last Stand Of The Sydney Entertainment Centre, December 17 & 18, 2015 and PNAU's Changa.

Other album debuts include The Corrs' Jupiter Calling (top 20), new Elton John compilation, Diamonds (top 30), Seal's Standards and the latest Stranger Things soundtrack (both top 40).

Over on the Singles chart, Eminem makes his triumphant return with Walk On Water (ft. Beyoncé), which should debut in the top 15.

Other new tracks debuting on the chart this week include Avicii's Lonely Together (top 35) and Keith Urban's Female (top 50).
