The festival's ticket ballot is still open, so get moving.

More Grizzly Bear More Grizzly Bear

Golden Plains turns 12 years old in 2018, and its esteemed organisers are pulling out all stops to make sure it's a party to remember when the annual event returns in March.

Pulling in some of the best-loved acts from around Australia and the world, the event will welcome the high-profile likes of The Avalanches, Grizzly Bear, Kamasi Washington, King Krule and The Preatures, just for starters.

Emergent and established excellence alike feature heavily on the Golden Plains bill, with the line-up filled out by no less meritorious drawcards than Jen Cloher, Perfume Genius, Wet Lips, Baker Boy and the supergroup stylings of Tropical Fuck Storm.

Extra-special entertainment comes from the recently reformed Rocket Science, who've only played a smattering of shows since first undoing their 2008 disbandment a few years ago, as well as additional greatness from Wet Lips, Batpiss, Thundercat, Adrian Sherwood and more.

The revelry will bring the mystical surrounds of the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre to life from 10-12 March.

The annual ticket ballot remains open until Tuesday 24 October, so be sure to get your name in the hat for a shot at experiencing the magic.
