The Long Island post-hardcore legends return for four shows in just a couple of months.
Influential Long Island outfit Glassjaw will return to Australia to play their first shows since 2014 this January on a whirlwind four-date national tour.
Last in the country for the now-defunct Soundwave festival and its accompanying sideshows, the post-hardcore legends will unleash their inimitable, intense live energy on audiences in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
Having formed in 1993 around still-present original members Daryl Palumbo and Justin Beck, Glassjaw went on to become a massive force among scenes around the world off the back of their seminal albums Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence and Worship & Tribute, not to mention their first EP, 1997's Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
The band went on hiatus a few years after their second album's release, earning near-mythical status along the way and dropping the El Mark EP (2005) during their extended period of inactivity, which broke — on record, at least — six years later with the Our Color Green (The Singles) and Coloring Book EPs.

Anyone who caught their performances at the touring festival or standalone shows can attest to the band's vitality and frenetic energy and the memorability of those outings; given the dedicated nature of their following, these upcoming gigs will undoubtedly join them as being, to use a techical term, fucking mayhem.
A ticket pre-sale for MJR Presents members is being held right now, with general public tickets on sale from 10am local time this Friday, 20 October.
