Couldn't Make It To BIGSOUND? We're Bringing You The Best-of With This Video Series

Starting with this one from Sadie Dupuis.

This year's BIGSOUND was — pardon the pun — the biggest one yet.

With a huge focus on tackling some of the biggest issues currently facing the music industry, this year's conference and festival saw keynotes from the likes of Tina Arena, Archie Roach, Sadie Dupuis and Kenny Gates (just to name a few).

A month has very quickly passed since BIGSOUND took over the streets of Brisbane's Fortitude Valley. Maybe you missed year's event entirely or maybe you are just missing it and want to relive the magic again — either way, we're bringing you our favourite keynotes and panels from this year's BIGSOUND over the next few weeks, starting today with Sadie Dupuis.

Sadie Dupuis' resume is a long one. She's a musician with Speedy Ortiz and Sad13, a producer, an activist and all-in-all, a game changer. Her BIGSOUND keynote address focused on creating more empathetic and inclusive music scenes. Watch it below.

We'll be sharing the full keynote, including the Q&A between Dupuis and Pitchfork's Jillian Mapes, along with the other videos in the coming days.
