A prop fell on the singer in New York
Marilyn Manson has been forced to cancel a string of US tour dates after being crushed by a stage prop on Saturday night in New York.
While the severities of his injuries are still unknown, Rolling Stone reports the singer was treated at a hospital near the Hammerstein Ballroom and “will be recuperating at home in Los Angeles".
In New York to promote his new album, Heaven Upside Down, Manson’s show was cut short when, an hour in, a giant prop toward the back of the stage featuring two pistols fell on him.
A statement from the singer’s representation states nine shows will be postponed (2 – 14 October) while he recovers.
