Someone had to move.

More Macklemore More Macklemore

The North Queensland Cowboys are reportedly furious after being blocked from holding their final training session at ANZ Stadium ahead of this weekend's grand final to make way for Macklemore.

According to 7 Sport, the NRL reserved the venue to run through dress rehearsals with the US rapper for the grand final pre-game entertainment, meaning the club will not get to train at ANZ Stadium before the game against Melbourne Storm on Sunday.

North Queensland are so enraged that they have reportedly threatened to skip tonight's Dally M players awards due to the scheduling clash.

They have instead been forced to move their final training session to Sydney's Jubilee Park in Kogorah.

In previous years, both grand final teams have been given set times on the Saturday to train at ANZ Stadium, however with the Storm set to commence their captain's run at 10.30am, there will be no spare time for the Cowboys to get on the field before dress rehearsals commence.

Meanwhile, Macklemore has confirmed he will perform equality anthem, Same Love, during his set on Sunday; the broadcast will be screened on Channel Nine from 6.30pm this Sunday.
