Check out the midweek figures.
The AFL and NRL grand finals are just a few days away and it looks like both of its pre-show headlining acts will be having a match-up of their own this weekend.
According to midweek figures, The Killers new album, Wonderful Wonderful, is the favourite to take out top spot on the ARIA Albums chart, alongside fellow US artist Macklemore's Gemini.
Both LP's are expected to debut in the top three and duke it out for #1, which will be announced before The Killers take to the stage at the MCG on Saturday and Macklemore at ANZ Stadium on Sunday.
Macklemore is hunting down his first-ever #1 album in Australia with Gemini, his first record since splitting from Ryan Lewis, while The Killers could secure their second top-charting album since their 2004 debut offering, Hot Fuss, which peaked at #1.
