The WA government has today announced an extra 15,000 tickets for Ed Sheeran's previously sold out Perth concert next year will be up for grabs next week.
Minister for Sport & Recreation, Mick Murray, and Minister for Transport, Rita Saffioti, confirmed that the original allocation for the Friday 2 March gig at Perth Arena was capped at 40,000 due to the uncertainty of completing construction of the Swan River Pedestrian Bridge.
However, while a mid-March completion date is predicted, it is not expected to be ready in time for Sheeran concerts.
Punters are advised to allow plenty of times in getting to the arena and should expect delays of up to 90 minutes to access public transport after the show.

"We're very appreciative that the WA Government are able to confirm the increase in capacity for Ed Sheeran’s Friday 2nd March Perth Stadium concert," Frontier Touring's Michael Gudinski said.
"As the very first outdoor stadium show of Ed's worldwide tour, it's going to be a special one, and we're thrilled that he will be able to play to the full capacity that this fantastic new Perth venue can provide."
The new batch of tickets will go on sale to the general public from Monday, 11 September (WA time); for a look at all of the dates, click on theGuide.
