Massive news for the Tassie comic.
Australia's own Hannah Gadsby has completed a rare comedy trifecta after being announced as the joint-winner of Edinburgh Festival Fringe's biggest award.
After taking out the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's top award this past April and Best Comedy Performer at last month's Helpmann Awards with Nanette, the Tasmanian-born comic was announced as the first-time-ever joint-winner for Edinburgh's Best Comedy Show gong alongside John Robins.
Gadsby now joins an illustrious list of winners for 'the Oscars of live comedy', which includes names such as Lano & Woodley, Dylan Moran and David O'Doherty.
Aussie fans will have one last chance to see Nanette when Gadsby heads back to the country in September; click on theGuide for more details.
