Big names get some big wins.
Some of music and theatre's biggest names picked up gongs at last night's Helpmann Awards, including Australian icon, Nick Cave.
The revered songwriter's Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds took out the Best Australian Contemporary Concert award, following the band's national tour at the beginning of the year.
Music legend Patti Smith was recognised for her jaw-dropping performance at this year's Bluesfest and picked up the Best International Contemporary Concert award.
Meanwhile, Hobart's annual MONA FOMA was awarded the Best Contemporary Music Festival gong.

Unsurprisingly, the acclaimed hit Broadway musical, The Book Of Mormon, made its mark at the Helpmann's too, by winning the prestigious Best Musical category.
The Book Of Mormon and South Park co-creator Trey Parker and choreographer Casey Nicholaw were also awarded the trophy for Best Direction Of A Musical.
Fellow Broadway smash Kinky Boots also picked up two awards, winning Best Choreography In A Musical (Jerry Mitchell) and Best Male Actor In A Musical (Callum Francis).
Tasmanian comic Hannah Gadsby has continued her hot streak after winning the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's Barry Award in April, by picking up the Best Comedy Performer award.
