Cars and choons. Noice.
Music-loving motorsport fans will be in for an extra treat at this year's Vodafone Gold Coast 600, with organisers announcing the inclusion of live performances from some of the country's most renowned artists.
Venerated songstress and The Voice mentor Delta Goodrem will ease audiences into the festivities with a performance on Friday 20 October before celebrated hip hop outfit Hilltop Hoods join Qld legends Violent Soho for a Saturday-night festival — Broadwater Sounds — at Broadwater Parklands, along with Montaigne, Dean Lewis and DJ Trials.
The Gold Coast 600 is expected to attract crowds of up to 200,000 people, and will be broadcast to 94 countries and more than 250 million homes around the world, Tourism & Major Events Minister Kate Jones said in a statement.
"Last year the GC600 injected more than $40 million into the local economy and generated more than 90,000 visitor nights, furthering the city's reputation as a world-class events destination," she said.

Supercars chief executive James Warburton explained that the inclusion of music and entertainment into the GC600 program is paramount to its continued growth and success, describing it as "more than a motor race — it is a massive major event on and off track".
"The Gold Coast 600 is a festival of the best motorsport’s categories on the planet combined with world-class music which appeals to a very wide audience and demographic," he said. "It is why this event continues to grow in stature as one of the biggest and best in the country."
The 2017 Vodafone Gold Coast 600 event will run from 20-22 October. Children aged 12 years and under will receive free trackside admission when accompanied by a paying adult.
Free public transport will be available on select services to and from the event for those with pre-purchased tickets.
