It's official.
Following last month's news that Pandora will be shut down in Australia, an end date has officially been announced.
According to AdNews, the US-founded streaming platform will cease all operations in the country on 31 July.
It has been reported that staff exited the company following the news on 27 June, while Sydney-based founding director, Rick Gleave, officially closed its doors this week.

"After analysis and consideration of external factors, we have decided to discontinue our operations in Australia and New Zealand and will shut down the service on July 31, 2017," a spokesperson told AdNews.
"While our experience in these markets reinforces the broader global opportunity long-term, in the short-term we must remain mindful and focused on the expansion of our core business in the United States."
The closure follows news this week that SoundCloud laid off 40% of its staff last week.
Tech Crunch have reported that founders Alex Ljung and Eric Wahlforss told employees in a meeting that the cuts were made to save the streaming giants enough money "until Q4".
When approached by Tech Crunch for comment, Soundcloud PR said that they are "fully funded into Q4", though confirmed that they are in discussions with potential investors.
