UK superstar Ed Sheeran's reign on the ARIA Albums Chart has claimed its latest victim, stopping Stone Sour's new album from debuting at #1.
The Corey Taylor led group - set to tour Australia in August - were unable to knock Sheeran's long-reigning ÷ (Divide) from #1, with their latest effort, Hydrograd, debuting at #2.
Hydograd is now the band's highest placing album in Australia, outdoing 2013's House Of Gold & Bones, which peaked at #4.
After debuting at #1 upon release, Lorde's Melodrama stays in the Top 5 (#3), next to Katy Perry's early June LP Witness, which received a bump to #4 this week following an Australian tour announcement.
