Straight into the top ten.

More Grinspoon More Grinspoon

It's official — Grinspoon's debut album has today charted higher on the ARIA Albums chart then it did 20 years ago.

Currently touring the country in celebration of Guide To Better Living's 20th anniversary, the Aussie rockers fell just short of midweek expectations of cracking the top five, instead coming in at #8 with the deluxe edition of the LP.

The original record peaked at #11 back in 1997.

Meanwhile, Lorde's reign on top of the Albums list has been short-lived, with Melodrama dropping down to #2 to make way for, yes, you guessed it, Ed Sheeran's ÷ (Divide), which has pulled back to the #1 spot.

Other debuts on the Aussie Albums chart this week include DJ Khaled's Grateful (#7), Vince StaplesBig Fish Theory (#17) and Khalid's American Dream (#42).

On the Singles chart, Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee have topped the list for seven weeks straight now with Despacito, featuring Justin Bieber, which has just held out DJ Khaled's chart-mover Wild Thoughts, featuring Rihanna and Bryson Teller, to #2.

Elsewhere, Aussie pop artist Jessica Mauboy's Fallin' has debuted at #20.
