Coming our way next month.
In conjunction with this year's 11th AIR Awards, UK indie music conference Indie-Con is set to launch in Australia.
Established in the UK to address issues facing self-releasing artists and indie record labels, the conference will head to Adelaide's Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute on 27-28 July.
"Indie-Con Australia will feature unrivalled networking opportunities, workshops, panels, presentations and interviews with key industry players," conference programmer Stu Watters said.
"One of the things that makes the independent sector truly appealing is that the business models are all quite diverse and they don't fit a mould, they are cutting their own track along the way and this conference is all about sharing those stories."
