Take that!
Beloved pop superstar Harry Styles will bring his world tour to two Australian theatres this November, but scalpers won’t be able to cash in on these “intimate” dates.
The One Direction singer will play shows in Sydney and Melbourne in support of his self-titled debut album, which drops in May and features current single Sign Of The Times.
In an effort to stop scalpers, ticket purchases will be limited to two per transaction with physical tickets to Sydney not issued until October and the buyer’s name printers on the tickets, while no physical tickets will be issued for Melbourne.
For both shows, the individual who purchased the tickets must be in attendance during a check-in on show day to have their ID marked off against a purchase list. Once approved, they will then receive non-transferrable accreditation for entry.

“The credit card holder does not have to attend the show, but they must attend check-in with their guests,” reads a statement from Frontier Touring.
“Any ticket holder not able to provide the required purchase and identification documents will be denied entry to the venue.”
Additionally, any customers that try to scalp their tickets at a mark-up may have them cancelled.
The anti-scalping procedures from promoters Frontier Touring come as Australian consumer advocacy group Choice leads a global investigation into the resale industry.
Tickets go on sale next Friday, May 5, with Melbourne live at 4pm and Sydney available from 5pm.
