"What more could you ask for? Don’t miss it!"

Having turned of age last year, Melbourne International Comedy Festival charity event Music, Mirth & Mayhem is back for its 19th iteration this year to raise funds for the Mirabel Foundation, an organisation specialising in the needs of children who have been abandoned or orphaned due to parental drug use.

With Lawrence Mooney back as a host for the 17th time, the fantastic bill also boasts comedy from the likes of Jimeoin, Luke McGregor, Fringe Wives Club and Zach & Viggo, as well as tunes from Broads, Powderfinger's Darren Middleton and Gawurra.

Mooney says, "It’s my 17th year hosting Music, Mirth & Mayhem. And, I wouldn’t miss it.

"Not only does it raise funds for the very deserving Mirabel Foundation, it's a great night out for Festival lovers. The room is packed and I get to share the love with all those talented performers who give so generously to support Mirabel. What more could you ask for? Don’t miss it!"

Mirabel's CEO Jane Rowe adds, "Our annual Melbourne International Comedy Festival fundraiser, Music, Mirth & Mayhem, reflects the extraordinary support Mirabel receives from the entertainment industry. With five new children referred to Mirabel weekly, the generosity of Lawrence Mooney and everyone involved in this annual fundraiser helps ensure that we never turn a child away."

Music, Mirth & Mayhem will be held at Max Watt's on 17 April.
