The Irish indie-rock outfit haven't forgotten about you, Perth
Stalwart Irish indie pop-rockers Two Door Cinema Club have joined the Splendour In The Grass sideshow fray with three headline dates across both coasts this July.
The celebrated scribes of Bad Decisions, Lavender and more will kick off their run of sideshows in Perth, where they'll play Metro City before heading onwards to Hordern Pavilion, in Sydney, and the festival itself. On the other side, the band play Melbourne's Festival Hall.
For all three shows, which are proudly presented by The Music, they'll be joined by beloved Brissy outfits Last Dinosaurs and The Creases.
Two Door Cinema Club's upcoming Aussie visit is far from their first dalliance with local audiences, and comes on the heels of their broadly acclaimed third studio album, Gameshow, from which the aforementioned singles were taken.

The band recorded the album in California with decorated producer Jacknife Lee, who has previously lent his distinct touch to works by the likes of REM, U2 and Block Party and helped the band realise their most ambitious vision yet on album #3, with clear influences such as the music of Prince, krautrock, neo-soul and more making their way into the band's infectious, engaging tunes.
