Bic Runga, one of New Zealand's biggest exports and the singer/songwriter behind the 1997 hit single Sway, is returning to Australia for two shows this June.

Joined by her band (which includes a concert harp), Runga will play her first show at Melbourne’s Memo Music Hall before heading to Sydney for a performance in the Conservatorium Of Music’s Verbrugghen Hall, as part of Vivid Sydney.

The songs she’ll perform have been selected to suit the venue's halls and will include material from her 2016 album Close Your Eyes - which consists of ten covers of songs by a wide range of artists including Nick Drake and Kanye West.

Runga is also expected to play bunch of songs from her new The Very Best Of compilation, released in January to celebrate her 20 years in music, and possibly a few tracks off her forthcoming album set for release later this year.
