If you got caught in the shitfight that was getting Splendour In The Grass tickets this morning, we feel for you, dude.

As expected, the 2017 iteration of the popular festival has sold out for the sixth year running, this time in under an hour of general admission going on sale at 9am this morning.

Splendour organisers Paul Piticco and Jessica Ducrou thanked all 30,000 of you for your eagerness to be a part of the magic once again this year.

"Once again we have been overwhelmed by your love and enthusiasm for Splendour. We can’t wait to bring you another awesome show."

They also sent their thoughts to those affected by Queensland and Northern NSW's floods post ex-Cyclone Debbie.

"Our thoughts are with all those in our local Northern NSW community that have been devastated by floods over the past week," they said. "We will be announcing a fundraising initiative soon to assist with the recovery. In the meantime, we’re sending you all our love."

They've also implored punters who missed out on tickets to refrain from using online auction, selling sites or social media to nab tickets from others, as tickets are sent out with the name and date of birth of the purchaser.

A resale facility will be launched from 9am on 8 May, with Ducrou stating, "This year we’re again offering our fair-play ticket Resale Facility through moshtix, which has always minimized the potential for scalping on such coveted tickets and ensured that our fans are treated fairly and with the utmost respect."

Splendour In The Grass this year have confirmed a stacked bill, including headliners The xx, Queens Of The Stone Age, LCD Soundsystem, Sigur Ros, HAIM and more.
