"It's surreal, being on people's bodies."

More Allday More Allday

A loyal fan has tattooed rapper Allday's upcoming second album name, Speeding, on her body just two days after the album was announced last week.

With the album due out next month, the fan tweeted out a photo of the ink and wrote, "April 21st,,, write it in your calendar or just tattoo it on yourself".

Speaking exclusively to The Music, Allday says of the dedicated fan's tattoo, "It's surreal, being on people's bodies."

"I said this on Twitter the other day but it means a lot to me day to day, often if I'm having a bad time in the studio I tell myself 'people have tattoos of you' and I get a little spiritual boost. Some people think it might freak me out, but it's probably my favourite thing in the world. It means I'm reaching some people in the optimum way."

The rapper says there are quite a few fan tattoos now but "this week was a strangely big rush".

Allday has just released a new single off Speeding titled In Motion, featuring producer Japanese Wallpaper. Along with Japanese Wallpaper and Nicole Millar, Allday will be heading out on tour in support of the album this July.

Ahead of the tour, Allday will be hosting a series of listening parties for fans who pre-order Speeding, with meet and greets and special guest DJs at each event.
