"I'm not sure if touring is my bag."
Adele has made no secret about wanting to take a break following the conclusion of her world tour, but the UK singer went one step further during her final show in New Zealand last night, saying she may never tour again.
Performing to over 40,000 fans at Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland last night in very wet conditions, the 28-year-old hinted this could be the last time her international fans will see her live, according to NZ Herald.
"Touring isn't something I'm good at - applause makes me feel a bit vulnerable," Adele said.
"I don't know if I will ever tour again. The only reason I've toured is you.

"I'm not sure if touring is my bag. My greatest accomplishment in my career is this tour."
Her comments come after Live Nation Chairman Michael Coppel hinted that her record-breaking Australian and New Zealand dates could be her first and last.
As Coppel told News Corp, "Adele's been quoted as saying she won’t tour again, she's doing this big tour as a recognition of the huge record sales and the enormous demand to see her live.
"It's impossible to tell what happens next. The future's an open book."
The rain at last night's show was so heavy that at one point during the show that Adele borrowed a poncho from a fan in the audience.
"I just spent two hours in hair and makeup for nothing," she said to the crowd.
"Who wants to make a bet with me I'll fall over at some stage… or get electrocuted by my microphone?"
