Better luck next time.

It came down to the wire, but Drake's surprise playlist More Life has debuted on the ARIA Albums chart at #2, leaving Ed Sheeran on top yet again with his highly-acclaimed third LP, ÷ (Divide).

The UK songwriter's complete takeover of the list continues as previous efforts X and + have placed at #5 and #10 respectively, while fellow Brit superstar Adele has rounded out the top three with 25, following her record-breaking Australian tour.

As expected, the top ten did get a bit of a re-shuffle, with Zara Larsson's So Good debuting at #7, while Milky Chance's Blossom finished one place behind at #8.

Other LP's debuting on the Albums chart this week include Depeche Mode's Spirit (#14), Spoon's Hot Thoughts (#21), Gary Clark Jr's Live North America 2016 (#32), Elevation Worship's There Is A Cloud (#33), 2CellosScore (#35) and Rick RossRather You Than Me (#56).

Sheeran's hot streak on the Singles chart also remains intact, as his track Shape Of You has taken out #1 for the 11th straight week.

However, another of his global hits, Castle On The Hill, has dropped to #3 to make way for The Chainsmokers' and Coldplay's Something Just Like This, which has placed at #2.

Meanwhile, Drake's new tune, Passionfruit, has debuted this week at #16.
