In the wake of new solo retrospective 'Roll Back The Stone'
Venerated singer-songwriter Mark Seymour is in the midst of quite the busy period, prepping for the release of his retrospective album, Roll Back The Stone 1985-2016 tomorrow and impending national tour in June — but he's also found time to appear on next week's episode of Q&A.
Seymour will appear alongside National Party Victorian senator Bridget McKenzie, Veterans Affairs and Defence Personnel shadow minister Amanda Rishworth, businessman and author Peter Holmes a Court, former state Liberal leader Kerry chikarovski and Arcana Partners director Lydia Khalil.
The frontman of Hunters & Collectors and latest outfit The Undertow follows in the footsteps of fellow Aussie musicians such as Jimmy Barnes and 360, both of whom have appeared as guests on Q&A, as well as Qld songstress and industry activist Katie Noonan, who made a memorable appearance as an audience member by challenging Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull over arts funding, and, most recently, Canadian singer-songwriter Martha Wainwright.
Q&A will screen at 9.35pm on Monday 27 March, on ABC and iview.
