The industry veteran is reportedly looking to "pursue other opportunities"
The founding managing director of Pandora Australia & New Zealand, Jane Huxley, has announced that she is leaving the company after a five-year stint in the role.
The one-time chief executive and publisher of the digital arm of Fairfax Metro — and previous Microsoft fixture — has not indicated where her career will take her next, but described her time with the internet-radio company as "a truly humbling and amazing ride".
As AdNews reports, Huxley has been a key figure in leading the growth of Pandora's local operations to include advertising and a premium subscription option for the platform.
"During my time, we have grown a listener base of over 5 million registered users, successfully implemented the model in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, and established many significant market partnerships," she said.

However, her tenure was not without controversy, as the company weathered accusations of a culture of corporate bullying mid-last year. There is no insinuation that this had any bearing on Huxley's departure.
Huxley's results-based achievements were acknowledged by Pandora chief executive Tim Westergreen, who said that, since 2012, she "has firmly established our brand in the ANZ market, built a world-class team and pioneered our first subsidiaries outside of the United States".
"We wish her well," he said.
According to AdNews, Huxley's role will be filled temporarily by Pandora ANZ director of revenue operations Taly Yaniv.
