Triple J Announce 2017 One Night Stand Line-up

Triple j have announced the major acts set to storm the stage at the 2017 One Night Stand event ahead of next week's reveal of the lucky town set to welcome the concert later this year.

Station favourites Tash Sultana, The Smith Street Band, Thundamentals and San Cisco make up the majority of the roster, which will be rounded out by a local Unearthed competition winner from the selected region.

What we do know, though, is that the event will make its return this year on Saturday 22 April and will, as always, be a free, all-ages, drug- and alcohol-free concert set to imbue a special place in regional Australia with some likely unprecedented life and energy, as seen at last year's One Night Stand in Geraldton, WA, and at previous iterations in locales from Alice Springs and Dalby to Dubbo, Mildura and Tumby Bay.

The 2017 location will be revealed on triple j this coming Tuesday, 21 March. If it proves too far-flung for you to get to, fear not — triple j will be broadcasting the event live on the radio, with on-ground action from new breakfast boys Ben & Liam, as well as j veterans Zan Rowe and Linda Marigliano.
