Just weeks before he heads off to the US for SXSW 2017, Running Touch has today announced details for his debut EP, as well as unveiling a brand new single.

The dance/electro artist's EP, A Body Slow, is set for release on 31 March and is available for pre-order, while his new track, Lovely, is available to download and stream now.

"Something I wanted to work on in my music that is a significant weak point for me is 'meaning'," the Melbourne act said of the single.

"Not that my songs lack meaning, but it's more about trying to be more 'objective' rather than subjective and vague for the sake of pretty words.

Lovely
is a compilation of stories fed from three friends and myself - it's the first time I've sourced a story and I love it because they're friends, I love the stories so it was a lot easier for me to try channel what I feel they think, or what atmosphere they would imagine for this particular song.

"In some cases we've actually been together in these stories so it's a special feeling to immortalise that."

Following his set at this weekend's For The Love Festival in Melbourne, Running Touch will head to Austin for SXSW as well as other gigs in New York and LA, before returning to Australia in April for a string of shows, including Groovin The Moo.
